John and Melissa

Posted by Netta

I don't have very many pictures of Pete's brother John and his wife. They live out of town and we don't see them but 3 or 4 times a year. This picture is actually one they posted on their Flickr account. They were on vacation!

They will be here for Christmas and we are looking forward to having a good time.

What kind of things do you do with your family during Christmas? Games, music, ???
My siblings and their families have been invited to Dad and Rachel's home for Christmas .... I don't know how many of the sibs or their families will be going - and I feel the need to plan...... and when John and Melissa come it would be good to plan..... you know... have some interaction :)

Maybe a game?

Give me some ideas..........

We buy inexpensive gifts (like from the Dollar Tree) and wrap them up and play bingo for them. This year we even have Mickey Mouse bingo for the little ones like Possum and Squirrel so they can participate.

When we have Christmas with my dad/stepmom we are normally all tired of the usual feast and Nana Bama has a dip supper (cheese dip, chicken dip...) We all look forward to this. We sit around, play games (rook, scrabble, bingo) and dip!

At one set of grandparent's house we play "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire". We each get a partner and the team that gets the highest wins a prize. One year my Mama even put $100 up for the grand prize. This game normally brings a good laugh as some of us are not the smartest!

You & Melissa do the planning and I'll do the cooking.
